Today we did one mile warm up, one mile speed changes, three 400's with a 400 recovery in between. Then my lungs were on fire and I couldn't breathe, so I stopped for a little bit and did strides. Then I did a 400 with Scott, and then another 400 with Steffi. After that I did a one mile cool down. This is the first time in a long time that I actually fear running. I need to get better and it needs to be fast. I have a meet this Saturday in Boise. I don't know whether to push through it or rest. Pushing isn't helping but resting won't really either. I just don't know.
