I adore Harry Potter and obsess over the book constantly. I do mean constantly. I also love to watch invader zim and play age of empires with my brother. I can recite the Pokemon theme song and hope to be able to recite the pokemon rap soon enough. Soooo YEAH!

Wow, this run was pretty delightful. I started by running around sugarhouse park, and then ran up the hills of doom death and destruction. Keeping my lunch in, I ran another lap and ran home. Pretty fun, but I learned not to eat so much before a run. My Legs are Jelly! Sally Zhlarfphin Visenheimer. After, I cleaned up and played water games with my cross country team (without Squishy Face) which I can infer is another mile :D Funnest run ever! I liked going around sugarhouse...kind of. It was the best to play water games on such a hot day too! But my favorite was that I can say that Scott's a spy, Nelson's a bodyguard and I led a terrorist group. haha!

| |
For this fun running day, I ran to my school's track (about a mile and a half from my house) and did a mile of speed changes (you know, sprint on the straight, jog on the curve!) and ran/skipped home. After, I had a pr sandwich ;)
So you all know, a pr sandwich is a peanut butter and raspberry jam sandwich. This run was pretty boring. I'm not a huge fan of the track without hurdles. I just need to get used to using it once a week. Sound good Sally?
|
| |
Well, because I was mad studying for finals and had an extra credit seminar AND had young womens', I decided to just go up to the library, study, and then run home. I did this whole run with my back pack. woohoo!
This run actually feels like something I like. It was fun to go to the library and be able to study, then run back. It also helped that I could act like a lost back-packer the whole entire time. I got some odd looks!
|
| |
This was my first run with my team in forever and a half (which is really since december). We went from our school to this trail-park thing and ran around there. After stumbling a few times and being blinded by how white some of the shirtless boys are, I ran back to the school and did my push ups and sit ups. I also made a new friend who is actually real!
How do I feel about this run? It was freaking HOT!!! I felt like I was going to melt and join the river. I also learned that I am not used to trails. I can't count how many times I fell on this run! I am very happy I ran and I can tell I'm getting better.
| |
| | For this lovely run I ran to my old elementary school, then to Name Droppers, and then home. It was pretty hot, but listening to the pokemon theme song really helps :) Hopefully tomorrow I can go on a stalker run. Be aware ;) |
| | Well, today I went to Sugarhouse park and ran two laps, and then did some hills. Toward the end of the run I was feeling very dizzy and what do you know, I passed out. My brother had to come get me and give me water. :( |
| | YAY! Today I had yearbook signing and then RUNNING!!! My team went down to liberty and ran laps around. The first were Fireman, and then I got to run home! On the way home I stopped by Great Harvest for some delicious bread and it was. :d This equaled up to 4 miles
Later on in the day I ran around on a stalker run! I sure love those :) This was two miles of stalking

My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 6.00 |
|
| | So today I decided that after Raging Waters, why not go pool running? But then I noticed I had no money, after I had ran to the pool. So I ran back home, which equaled up to 3 miles :D |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 3.00 |
|
| | Today I decided to invade schools and run a speed workout at the highland track! After, I did some hills at sugarhouse and ran home. It was fun because I ran with some highland runners too :) |
|
| | Today I made a deal with my grandpa. He'd let me use his funny watch that tells you how many miles you have ran if I was his caddy without a kart! So I got to be a personal slave and get my miles in for the day! YEAH! Plus I learned that golf courses are really made for xc runners ;) |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 3.00 |
|
| | Today Patti and I went to Sugarhouse park and ran a very long lap around. It was pretty interesting because he went to big 5 and tried on shoes. So that would be a half mile to sugarhouse, two miles around, and a half a mile back home. Hooray! |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 3.00 |
|
| | so today I really didn't want to run so I ran to sugarhouse, got sidetracked because of a swing, and ran back. This equals up to one mile |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 1.00 |
|
| | This week is the kick off of adding more miles in to a week time. So Today I had to go to the dentist for Root Canal: Part One, so I missed running with my team. So after texting my coach, I went to sugar house park on my own and ran around it two times, equaling four miles. One mile warm up, two mile speed changes, and one mile cool down. After I ran home, and since I ran there, that gives me another mile, equaling five miles. After I passed out on my couch for a very long time. |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 5.00 |

Today I didn't have to go to heck on earth, so I went to cross country practice. We started with two miles warm up to the hospital, down to the stadium, and back to Sunnyside Park. At sunnyside, we did two miles of fartlek training (one minute pushing, one minute recovery). I had to walk at times because the dizzy feeling was coming back and passing out did NOT sound exciting. After, we played ultimate frisbee for the cool down. I am extremely uncoodinated so not really playing didn't come as a surprise to my team. Hopefully tomorrow will be easier! |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 6.00 |
|
| |
Okay, so on my last entry did I say it would be easier? SIKE! Yes, I ran less miles, but the trail my coach sent us on was KILLER! So obviously, I'm going to do it again and again! haha, a lot of hills oddly makes Delaney a happy girl. I will be so much more fit for footlocker this december! |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 3.00 |
|
| | Imagine me, up at seven, waiting on my porch for Patrick to come get me. But oh wait, he fell back asleep! So once again I have to miss a team workout. So instead I ran up to the zoo and worked on some hills on that evil trail. After, I ran home. It was fun to sing while running because singing while running sounds more like gasping to a certain tune :) |
|
| | Today I ran with my team around Liberty park. We did two miles warm up, two 800's with an 800 in between for recovery, and two miles cool down. It was okay except that I had to start walking a little because the oil fumes were not helping the dizziness. Well, next time I'll try to avoid that ;) |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 5.00 |
|
| | Yikes! Today was the stupidest run EVER! I was running at USU and toward the end the muscle that I stretched in track was acting up again! ewwww! But the run was okay, I can't really talk much more about it |
|
| | After hurting myself the day before, I could only handle 2 miles without dying. But then I had a break and ran about two more miles in the aggie games :D So it was a pretty good day! |
|
| |
Without everyone knowing (I was being a secret agent), I ran three miles before the devotional. But I didn't go with Susannah and Natalie cause I might have just died. hehe, at least I went ;) |
|
| | so today I ran four miles just around Sugar House. After I ate sugar with a hint of rice krispie haha! |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 4.00 |
|
| | Ahh, whilst babysitting with my brother, we took turns watching da kids. So while he watched for about fourty minutes, I ran :) |
|
| | Soooo, I felt guilty for not running the 5k, so I did one by myself. Not a good time ;) |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 3.00 |
|
| |
AHHHHHHHHHH! So good and bad things happened to me today. Bad first, while doing the bertha whatevers, I kept having to stop because I kept hurting and coudn't breath. But the good news is that H.J. (Hercules Jeremy) ran one with me to push me (he thought it was just to stay with me, but I pushed). And on the warm up I kept up with Dakota, even though I had to keep stopping because Michelle's dog had to...dispose? haha! Well, I still feel sick, but it was a productive day :D Later I ran to the library which is a mile. And than I ran back :D
|
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 7.00 | Asics Attack Miles: 2.00 |
|
| | So today we went trail running!!! I decided to push the new girl and I actually ended up pushing myself to impress her. hehe! I feel good about today and had fun listening to Ben scream about the cold water. His fault he went in it |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 7.00 |
|
| | So today we went to Wheeler Farm and ran fartliks! DEATH! I was feeling so sick, but walking was not in my future! OH YEAH Later, I biked six miles, three up hill/level, three down hill. I county this as three miles because down hill doesn't count.
|
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 7.00 | Asics Attack Miles: 3.00 |
|
| | Today my team did the anticipated and dreaded bike and run. We were paired up and guess who my team member was...RJ (or HJ). His bike was big for him, so I was just about dying. I still did AND BEAT SQUISHY-FACE! BUAHAHAHAHA! Sorry, it made me extremely happy because we all know he will always beat me normally. But the night before this I saw Avatar: The last airbender, so I was handicapped. hehe, we got fourth and I barely ever walked :) |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 7.00 |
| |
| | So I ran about three miles today to the grocery store and back. It was pretty boring and I was pretty miserable for other reasons. |
| |
| | So this morning I had a fever, so I skipped xc practice, but then it went away so I asked my friend what the workout was and went on it by myself. It was really dull without squishy face singing another one bites the dust. I miss my friends :( Happy Birthday Bill! |
| |
| | This morning the team went through the jcc trail. We were supposed to to eight miles, but since I was idiotic and forgot water I only did six. I was about to puke and some mutant mosquito attacked me. To make up for cutting off two miles, I ran to the library and back WITH BOOKS! It's like the rocks on jcc without the tripping :) LA LA LA LA you'll be popular!
|
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 6.00 | Asics Attack Miles: 2.00 |
|
| | Today Our team went to Fairmont park to run. Two mile warm up, two mile j's. I had to leave early for seminary so later I ran three more miles on my own, incoporating speed to make up for the missing j's. tada! |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 7.00 |
|
| |
I was planning to go running with the team, but my LAZY FRIEND slept in, so I didn't have a ride. Later, he woke up and we went one mile warm up, two miles farliks, one miles. Later, I went on my own to find dress shoes, while running. Got in FOUR MILES! And who said the hunt for amazing shoes was easy? Didn't find them though... Later, I went running with Track. 800 warm up and a ton of hurdle practice. I'm gonna just say a mile. FUN
|
Asics Attack Miles: 8.00 | Asics Pink Yellowy Spikes Miles: 1.00 |
|
| | Today since I KNEW that I would miss xc, I went down to the Highland Track and did two miles warm up in my flats. Then I ran two 800's in my spikes, with 800 recovery in between. After, I changed back into my flats and ran a lovely two mile cooldown. I think I did exactly what my team did. YAY! I'll be there tomorrow for the Slurpee Run!!! |
Asics Attack Miles: 4.00 | Asics Pink Yellowy Spikes Miles: 2.00 |
|
| | Today was the Dreaded and anticipated SLURPEE RUN! In this run, you ran to seven different 7/11's and had to down a slurpee at each one, then run to the next. This was the biggest adventure for Patti, Becca and I! First, we meet at the first one. Then we passed Rachel's house so we stopped to say hello. She didn't answer. Then at the next one, a policeman almost gave us a ride. In between the second at third we stopped at this weird hotel that gave us lemon water. Soon we were at the next one. Going toward the last shop, I spilled my slurpee and soon after a kid threw a crab apple at me! Karma much? This whole entire run I realllly had to go potty, so at the very end I was just sprinting! haha! Well I met some new people from Illinois and we played ultimate frisbee. After this all was done, a few of us went to Dans to get lucky charms. Well one of our team members was holding an extra pair of shoes and the worker thought he was barefoot, so she kicked us all out. Such a fun (and sickening) run! Glad I went! SO LONG |
|
| | Today I woke up at TWO! So I would've gone to xc, but I had to work with my dad pretty early. So instead I went at like five one a simple run to da zooish and back :) AND I GOT NEW RUNNING SHOES!!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeEEEEEEEEEEe!! They are my first pair of trainers! |
My Sister's Reeboks Miles: 6.00 |
|
| | Today was just a simple run to sugarhouse, do three laps around and run back. Nothing big, but it was fun running in NEW SHOES!! These are my first pair of trainers. Shocking right? |
Asics Cascade Miles: 7.00 |
|
| | So today we went on Shoreline trail and ran on that for six miles. I liked it and had a lot of fun having a dance party with Abigail! :D Abifail <3 Delamey! |
Asics Cascade Miles: 6.00 |
|
| | Today I went to the highland track and did a two mile warmup, two eight hundreds with and 800 in between for recovery, and two miles cool down. It was the speed work out I needed this week. |
Asics Attack Miles: 4.00 | Asics Pink Yellowy Spikes Miles: 2.00 |
|
| | Before babysitting, I went down to sugar house and did two laps around and ran back home. So each lap is two miles, and from my house to sugar house is a half a mile. So this makes 5 miles! |
Asics Cascade Miles: 5.00 |
|
| | Today I went to Sugar House and some hills and stuff. I missed my team though :( |
Asics Cascade Miles: 8.00 |
|
| | Today I did eight miles with the team, and then I learned that they actually did 13, so I ran a little on my own to make up. :) |
Asics Cascade Miles: 13.00 |
|
| | Today I ran to east, did two grass laps, and went home. I miss grass laps. But I don't miss being injured |
Asics Cascade Miles: 7.00 |
|
| | Today I went with my team to the peace gardens! (RJ got back today). Well Michelle and I got lost, ended up at sev, and then I got distracted by the gardens. At least I did 5 miles :) |
Asics Cascade Miles: 5.00 |
|
| | Today I went to liberty with da team and we did a SPEED WORKOUT! I got a 3:10 800 so I feel all happy. And I KILLED my tendon. A weekend at snowbird should fix that!!! See some at the Deseret News 10k tomorrow! Look out for the two girls eating junk food at the finish line! |
Asics Cascade Miles: 6.00 |
|
| | Today was the deseret news 10k. I went to cheer on my team, and ended up running a mile just going to different cheering places! After at Snowbird, I went on a really awesome trail that lead to a really rad waterfall. I had lots of fun, but now I'm excited to see my team! And kill Abifail...
|
|
| | So today was the worst run I have ever had. It makes me scared of going running again. I was doing fine when I started to go straight into not being able to see and my head was pounding like made. So I cut down a hill before highland, trying to see what was happening. When I got to the drinking fountain, my legs gave out and sent me sprawling. Soon I couldn't keep my eyes open because of the headache. I woke up again and saw some of my team on their cooldown. I tried to follow them but the same thing happened again. The next time I woke up I couldn't figure out where I was. It took me ten minutes to realize I was still at the park. I stumbled to highland and there my dad found me. I'm still shaking and I'm scared to go outside. Yikes
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 7.00 |
| |
| | So today I didn't really feel like going to Cotton Wood Complex with my team and die again, so I ran an easy five miles on my own at about eight AM
At eleven AM, Patti brought me to the dreadmills and I did about four miles on that. But then I got bored of that so I used the odd bike thing for six miles, which equals two running miles. Then at about four PM, Patti and I doorbell ditched RJ and Taylor, resulting in my last three miles. TADA!
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 14.00 |
|
| | Today the team went to Wheeler Farm and did a three mile warm up, Fartliks, hills and a very small cooldown. During the fartliks I was wheezing and coughing a lot, and my vision was kind of blacking out, but I really wanted to finish the run. I only walked six steps and I was pushing Patrick pretty hard. Later that day I just did a small mile that made me feel nice and loosen up a little after how sore and tight I was from the workout.
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 10.00 |
|
| |
Today I faced the same workout I failed monday. This time I did the full two laps around the cemetery, all ten hills and the cool down without passing out. I made sure I had a ton of water. I was coughing and wheezing again, but I'm going to the doc about exercise induced asthma. So maybe that will help me. And it COOLING DOWN! PM-I did another mile to loosen up because it helped a lot yesterday. Well that's the end!
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 11.00 |
| |
| | Today I was going to go to xc, but I couldn't get a ride and running there seemed like a bad idea. So I just ran around the U, having fun saying hi to people. Now I go camping. I'll be home for boot camp! Maybe... |
Asics Cascade Miles: 9.00 |
| |
| | Today was BOOT CAMP! I have decided that it was much harder than the seven miles it had in it, so I hate it. And I had a panic attack during it. I had to ask my boyfriend where I was because my mind wasn't exactly working right. I didn't do the cooldown, so I make up for it later... LATER! So I did about 5 or so miles at sugarhouse, EASY STUFF, like jogging and being happy, not doing evil things my coaches schemed up. My tooshie hurts.
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 10.00 |
|
| |
Today the team went up to Pipeline and just went out and back. Sarah and I got lost and ended up going UP this huge hill where we say a kid's water shoe hanging on a tree. I'm still weirded out. Well, it was sore from yesterday, but I'll be okay hopefully. I love xc!
AM/PMish- I went on an easy three mile run because I'm really trying to loosen up from yesterday. It's not working...
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 10.00 |
|
| | Today we went to the track to do a speed workout. I detest workouts on the track. If we could do hurdles on the grass, I'd be a happy girl. Our warm up was two miles around the boring track and then a mile speed changes. Then we times our mile (7:15) our 800 (3:10) and two 400's (no clue). Three mile cool down with GRASS laps. I love those. I was really tired and sore and felt seriously sick. But RJ and I found a fire-breathing rhino in the sky. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RJ!!! |
Asics Cascade Miles: 10.00 |
|
| | AM-The team went to The Peace Gardens to run on that trail. I'm starting to find it BORING! But that odd metal bridge was freaking scary! I was REALLY sore, but I ran faster to push out of it. I'm excited for XC! I just want school to come! PM-I went to Sugarhouse and did a lap around, then ran to the cemetary and back. I think that's about five miles. Maybe more, but I don't want to assume. Oh, and I wish we would never run at sugarhouse because it is as cursed as JCC trail :P
|
Asics Attack Miles: 5.00 | Asics Cascade Miles: 5.00 |
|
| | Today I didn't go to practice because I had to work. I ran on my own ten miles, including some 800's because I assume that is what happened at practice. I still can't time them, but I pushed. Hopefully they are goodish. My shoes are happy :) |
Asics Cascade Miles: 10.00 |
| |
| | Today I ran at the highland track. One mile warm up, two one mile repeats with a mile recovery and a mile cool down. FIFTY FIVE!!! |
Asics Cascade Miles: 5.00 |
|
| | AM- The team ran up to parley's trail. I was feeling awful because my knees hurt and I couldn't feel that I was breathing. Hoping I'll be better for tomorrow though :) |
Asics Cascade Miles: 6.00 |
| |
| | With the team this morning I did one mile warm up, on mile timed (7:10) and then one mile recovery and another mile timed (???). Then later I did two miles warm up, one 800 on, one off, one on, one off and one mile cooldown.
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 10.00 |
|
| | Today I ran to East, up to the zoo, back down to east, and home again. Using Google Earth after to look at all the sidestreets I took and counting the blocks on the way, this made ELEVEN MILES!! I'm happy about that, and I included hills :D |
Asics Cascade Miles: 11.00 |
| |
| | After the grueling day at East, I ran up to the track and did three mile warm up, one mile speed changes, one mile on, 800 off, 800 on, 800 off, 400 on, 400 off, and a three mile cool down. |
Asics Cascade Miles: 10.00 |
|
| | So I noticed I'm behind on mileage this week when I wanted to be raising it so I ran to East, then up to Shoreline (5.5) up shoreline to the 5 mile mark and turned around. I went back down to East, and then home. It was crazy hot and I wasn't feeling great, but I'm happy I finished...kind of. |
Asics Cascade Miles: 15.00 |
|
| | I ran the same run monday, but coming went to tanner park and turned around. From my house, that's eight miles. It was rocking because I went crazy early and I blasted music so I didn't really think about pain. The song 'Forget and Not Slow Down' helped because I just kept saying "Forget the pain and don't slow down." Thanks for the song idea RJ! |
Asics Cascade Miles: 8.00 |
| |
| | Today was odd. I thought my coach had told me one lap. He said two. Then during the 400's I had an attack. My coach saw and put me on probation. But I'm coming back, and I'm coming back strong...if I can come back...which I will! |
Asics Cascade Miles: 4.00 |
| |
| | So, no miles, but I heard from the doc. I have asthma, so I have to run with an inhaler. But who's back? Oh yes! It's Delaney Skee Zhlarfphin Zvisenheimer Deli Sally (not Amy)! See ya at practice tomorrow! | |
| |
AM! Today was my first day back!!! I ran on foothill forEVER!!! Muffins after. I had fun running with Sherlock, Sarah and Maggie. I'm back and I'm gonna be pushing it with my new found lung capacity!
PM! The weather is CRAZY!!! I went on a fun fourteen mile run up the canyon by the zoo. I had to use my inhaler once because of the cold, but other than that, I am ready to get up to my old mileage. Dooon't Stop Me Now!
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 20.00 |
| |
| |
AM!! Ten good miles: I woke up super early to finish my English Essay (which is why I couldn't go to xc). After I did, I ran down to east (two and a half using side streets), up to Sunnyside park, and then I proceeded to do the workout the varsity team did yesterday, but instead of going back to Sunnyside, I went home! That added another seven and a half. I had to use my inhaler during the run again, which isn't happy making. We'll see though... PM part 1! So I decided maybe today I can't do another ten at once, so I just did five miles. Down to Sugarhouse, two laps around, and back home. Hopefully I can do more today.
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 15.00 |
|
| |
I woke up at six, went running in my pajamas (not truly weird though) through sugarhouse a billion times (my mom wouldn't let me go anywhere else alone this early). So many laps!!! Well, now I have lagoon and a multi-stake dance to look forward to! Ladies day starts now!
After Lagoon (woo!) I was just going to do a mile to make an even fifty, but ended up doing six. I ended up going to sugarhouse and thinking 'what the heck? Let's run around it twice!'. So I did! Six miles to end a great day...even though I have a dance :D
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 16.00 |
|
| | Today I knew about xc, but I didn't go because today was grandparent run! I ran to my grandma's house and had breakfast with her and ran back. So great and worth missing practice for! |
Asics Cascade Miles: 10.00 |
|
| | Today was okay. I exceeded what Bill wanted in time accidentlly. He said an hour.five and I went for about two. I wanted the usual ten in so I went to Tanner Park and then to Sugarhouse park. Thank you google earth! |
Asics Cascade Miles: 10.00 |
|
| | Today was the first afternoon workout and I HATED IT! It was hot and I was feeling really terrible. I won't even talk about it. Two EASY miles after for the milage
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 8.00 |
|
| | Today was painful hot and my whole mouth hurts. My inhaler made my mouth drier than it already was and the medicine stuck to my tongue. Ten strides with a hill in them. I hated them and right now I'm hating life. :((((((((((((( |
Asics Cascade Miles: 8.00 |
| |
| | Today was bleh. I got punched in the knee at school and it HURT during my run so bad that I practically couldn't do anything. |
Asics Cascade Miles: 2.00 |
| |
| | To make up for my terrible day yesterday, I went early up the canyon. It was fun and cold so I didn't have too many problems. And I saw the new varsity uniforms!!! |
Asics Cascade Miles: 15.00 |
|
| | Today was the big day. The day to decide who is on varsity. Sarah and I did a two mile warm up, easy and slow, ready for the race. Then it was soon time to line up. I noticed a couple of girls on the line that expect to be on varsity but NEVER come to practice. Was I going to let them show me up? No freaking way! I knew one was going to be really good, so I focused on the other. I let her stay in front of me, while I gradually pushed ahead, as to not tire myself too quickly. By about halfway through I passed her. She kept up a fight, using her sprinting skills she has in track. The only problem with that is that I have those sprinting skills too and the endurance. Soon she fell behind and I pushed ahead. At about the 800 to the end mark, I could hear the other girls catching up. I heard John's voice and started to full on sprint. I almost tripped on a flag and had to dodge a tree, but I hit the finish strong. Later 'cough cough' I learned I got sixth out of girls, putting me on varsity. Yes, the both girls who never come got on too, but I beat one of them! And if they keep skipping they won't be able to keep up. Now I'm nervous!!! |
Asics Cascade Miles: 5.00 |
|
| | AM!! Before school, I went down to sugar house, did big lap, and came home, giving me four miles. PM! With the team, we did one mile warm up, two miles speed changes (I did them all Bill! Your words made me feel lazy) and one mile cool down. Harder because I forgot my inhaler, but I'm pretty okay and I love cheerios. Race tomorrow!
|
Asics Cascade Miles: 8.00 |
| |

Pre-Regions (3.1 Miles) 00:26:00, Place in age division: 22 | | AM- Two miles in the morning to loosen up for the race in the afternoon. Nice and cool. PM. RACE TIME!!! It was my first time using xc spikes and they HURT! Maybe I need to practice a little with them to know what to do right. The race was hot and my mouth was crazy dry, making my throat hurt like crazy! There was the woods cross girl in front of me and whenever I pushed up to her, she'd sprint. Finally I was keeping up with her for a while and what did she do? She elbowed me! Right after her devil crime, she swerved in front of me so I still couldn't pass her. But oh wait! She elbowed my stomach and I puked on her! Oh and beat her at the end :) WHAT NOW?!?!? Now people know never to elbow me in the stomach when I'm feeling that sick! I got my best time yet, but it wasn't as good as I wanted. Now I'm gonna be stepping it up majorly and it getting colder is going to help a ton! I'm still maintaining that spot on varsity and I plan on keeping it. Our girls team got third and boys I think got first or third, I can't remember. Oh, I did a two mile warm up and a one mile cool down in socks. Nice after a race and out of spikes. I really need to get used to those...They gave me blisters and my shorts gave me cuts. What kind of shorts do that?

BYU invitational (3.2 Miles) 00:25:26, Place overall: 42, Place in age division: 42 | | This was a rockin race! I had a fun ride up, listening to music with RJ and Nelsi-poo. Then I did a fun two mile warm up while watching the boys race. Then I borrowed Natalie's spikes and lined up. As the official was telling us the rules I realized, I forgot to take me inhaler! I was like, oh shoot! Too late! I started the race strong! The start is an uphill :P I kept a good middle of pack to the front place and slowly started to pass people throughout the race. I had another sprinter girl, but she didn't elbow me and I didn't puke on her. But I did beat her! At the end there was a girl who saved ALL her energy for the sprint at the end, and she barely beat me. I am so proud of this race! The spikes still hurt, but I knew they helped, mainly when the grass was really muddy. Good two mile cooldown while cheering for the whole team. Susannah did AMAZING!!! She got third place and Natalie wasn't far behind on the varsity race. I also found out Davis has a FREAKING GOOD TEAM! I'm jealous and ready to start beating them! On the way home I fell asleep on my human pillow (AKA RJ) and Scotty G Taylor Squishy Face's 'amazing' singing kept waking me up. I hope to do even better next time and have fun!

| | Tempo run this morning. 2 miles warm up, 2 miles cool down. 4 miles in between at a 8:30 pace. It was nice in cool weather, but a little hard because I didn't get much sleep because of MY STUPID BROTHER! (Yes, he's reading over my shoulder) |
Asics Cascade Miles: 8.00 |
|
| | AM-Workout at the track. One mile warm up, one mile speed changes. Then two three hundreds and six one hundreds, then a one mile cool down. PM- We went up to This is the Place and ran the course. I HATED this course, so you know. I plan on never doing it after tomorrow. After that we ran back down. I hated it. A lot. A lot a lot.

Murry Invitational (3.1 Miles) 00:23:52 | | Today was the big Murry race, and was my first official race on Varsity. It was SCARY! But I did PR by almost two minutes. And I beat my time from this race last year by almost TWENTY minutes :) But the first time out, I fell. The second time out I had to use my hurdle skills and jump over someone. Going up this one hill, I was completely boxed in and the girl in front of me randomly decided to walk. I 'accidently' ran her over. Then I didn't mean to throw an elbow but the girl next to me DID and ended up hitting my funny bone :/ sooo not funny! My knee was killing, but I pushed through it. Good time for having been puking two days before right? |
Asics Cascade Miles: 10.00 |

| | AM-Four miles, to Sugarhouse a lap around and back home. I hate life right now because it is sore!!!! PM-Went on a freaking fun hike for homecoming with friends! We sang the sound of music and Patti made me into a tree! So fun and I even forgot that the actual dance was that night!

| | Painful. I ran out of inhaler saturday and I couldn't get anymore because sunday was the next day. We ran to Sugarhouse, and then to Fairmont for ten strides. I was keeping up with the best of best and I snapped. I stopped breathing and I tried really hard not to show it because I really didn't want anyone to slow down and I didn't want to be a distraction. I ended up having to cut out the hills at liberty and just went back to the track. I collapsed at one point at this creepy gas station. After a little water I was back up again but then needed to get some more at great harvest. I am tired but I hope this will pay off in the end... |
Asics Cascade Miles: 8.00 |
|
| | AM-We ran down to liberty, did two laps of fireman and ran back up. My fire man group ended up being Nelson and I because everyone else walked. It wasn't too effective :P PM-One mile warmup, one mile speed changes, two 800s (3:15 each), ten strides on the soccer field and a one mile cooldown. It hurt and it was way too hot!

Settlement Canyon (3 Miles) 00:23:55, Place in age division: 4 | | (the division place is my place on my team) This course is awful. I think about fifty or so people heard me saying that today. I hated it. We got there 15 minutes before and did a three mile warm up. Then the race was a killer! The first part was an uphill road and I felt I was making it no where. Then we got to a very rocky trail and one of my biggest fears is that I'll fall on one of these trails and go flying. I've done it before and I really couldn't walk or stop crying. I had a pair of stansbury girls in front of me and behind me. The ones behind me passed me at a wide part and then I saw my favorite Afro Boy cheering. I used my hurdle skills to jump over a bush and pass those girls. This time they were NOT passing me :) And on the last 400 I passed the pair who were originally in front of me along with three other girls. I ended up being fourth from my team. I hit a huge mud puddle and got ick EVERYWHERE! And after the race I realized my leg was bleeding everywhere. So I put my blood sweat and tears in this race and didn't even pr. I HATE THIS RACE!!!! |

| | AM-This morning was interesting. I had a dream that my phone kept going off and then boom! My phone went off in real life! I forgot that I had a morning workout and my boyfriend was outside waiting for me. I quickly changed and ran out there, forgetting almost everything! During the run I kept coughing and my mind just wouldn't work and I couldn't exactly run straight. I took it really easy and Sarah and Patrick stayed with me to make sure I was okay. When I got back to the track I was shivering like mad. After taking a demon shower, I ate an amazing muffin from Taylor Squishyface and curled up in Sarah's blanket. After first period I ended up calling my dad to bring me home. It turned out that I had a high fever. Only two miles and I feel worse than I have for a while(actually Monday but shhhh). And yes, I used colors to make me feel better about this run today :)

| | Today was my day back. I really couldn't run much without my mom killing me, so we did a warm up, a ton of core, and then played ultimate frisbee. Mickey and I are the ultimate team :D |

|
| | Well today was pretty painful. I am still getting over this awful virus, and running with congestion and asthma didn't really mix. I had to go slow and I had many coughing fits. But at least I got it in right?

Asics Cascade Miles: 6.00 |
|
| | Today we did one mile warm up, one mile speed changes, three 400's with a 400 recovery in between. Then my lungs were on fire and I couldn't breathe, so I stopped for a little bit and did strides. Then I did a 400 with Scott, and then another 400 with Steffi. After that I did a one mile cool down. This is the first time in a long time that I actually fear running. I need to get better and it needs to be fast. I have a meet this Saturday in Boise. I don't know whether to push through it or rest. Pushing isn't helping but resting won't really either. I just don't know.

| | Today I did core at the track and then went pool running. ten minute warm up, three minutes on, two minutes off eight times then a ten minute cool down. My chest was hurting all day and it got worse during this. I talked to my doctor after and it is bronchitis. So no running until saturday! BLEH! | |
| Race: |
Bob Firman Invitational (3.1 Miles) 00:25:00 | |
Hmmmm, so running this with Bronchitis was an adventure. We had to get to the bus at three, and I can't really sleep on buses, so not much sleep either. I had a two mile warm up and then got to the starting line. The race well...I wasn't last right? I was in elite and for part of the race, I couldn't breathe at all. I knew I had the holy ghost with me, cause I have no clue how I finished that race without walking, collasping, or dying at all. The second I finished, I attempted to take my inhaler, but in mid-asthma attack, it's really hard. Once I got my breath back, I did my cool down by going on the jv boys warm up. On the ride home, I could feel my lungs vibrating and my chest hurt so bad. I had my superboyfriend with me though and he gave me tylonol, made sure I was always wrapped up in a blanket and even put a pillow on his lap so I could lay my head down and stretch out a little. We got home at about two am and I finally had a real bed. I slept for ten hours. Once I woke up, I got on this. I can tell by how my lungs are hurting and how breathing is almost impossible, the season is more than likely shot. woo?

| | Two mile warm up. I felt great for that! Then...on about the mile mark of the race I was in third place and my lungs started to fill with goo. Then at the 1.5 mile mark I couldn't breathe. At 2 miles I collapsed entirely. Now I can't run until I find out what the guacamole is wrong! | |
| | So I got on a steroid inhaler (:P) and I had to rest for a few days, but now I'm back! Today I needed to do small stuff, so Patti and I did laps around Liberty. I had to go sooooo slow and my lungs hurt all night after, but I'm back!!! |

Today I ran to East Track, did two miles of speed changes, two 800's, four 400's, eight 200's and one more mile of speed changes before running home. First speed day in a while and it felt okay. I hate those two hundreds though :P

| | Today I was about to fall apart because of my terrible life, so I woke up pretty early and went running until my legs wouldn't work anymore. then I ran back home. Pounding out problems helps, but only for a little bit. Maybe it'll get better though |

| | Today I was planning on going nine, but at the three mile mark I ended up having a bad panic attack because I fell so I cut it down. I was at five and a half by the time I got to the track and then I did a half mile with Abigail on the track when we saw I snake! It was so random and I thought it was a stick! |
