Personal:

I love running, but when I grow up I really want to write and be an english teacher. I also want to coach an xc team. I write a lot and actually like it. I adore Harry Potter and obsess over the book constantly. I do mean constantly. I also love to watch invader zim and play age of empires with my brother. I can recite the Pokemon theme song and hope to be able to recite the pokemon rap soon enough. Soooo YEAH!

Today I faced the same workout I failed monday. This time I did the full two laps around the cemetery, all ten hills and the cool down without passing out. I made sure I had a ton of water. I was coughing and wheezing again, but I'm going to the doc about exercise induced asthma. So maybe that will help me. And it COOLING DOWN!

PM-I did another mile to loosen up because it helped a lot yesterday. Well that's the end!

That is really amazing, Deli! You might want to rub out your calves or make your someone massage them out for you.

Wow! You really are hardcore, huh?

We haven't met, but just wanted to drop in for a bit, hope you don't mind.

I have asthma and know exactly what you are talking about. It is amazing what a difference the proper medication can make.

I have looked over your past couple of weeks of running. You seem to have a lot more determination than most. That will take you far in this sport.

One thing that kind of made me sad was noticing how often you feel like you are going to pass out, the headaches, etc. Running is so so so much more fun when you feel like you are getting stronger with each mile.

I hope I am not putting my nose where it shouldn't be, but I really want to see you succeed in this sport. There is so much pressure put on female athletes. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take care of yourself.

Btw, I am glad that you are hydrating. Are you only drinking water? If I don't take in enough calories in any run over an hour I will start to feel light headed. Some of us are like that. I noticed that when I started getting more calories in my body throughout tough runs (and before and after) that my body responded so so so much better. Not only did my speed increase, but my recovery was also better. This is something I have to remind myself of OFTEN. As a female, we often forget how important it is for us to take care of our bodies on every level. :)

Can't wait to see where running takes you.

I hope you don't mind my just stopping in.

(Btw, you and I have a lot in common ... I am in my 30s but am still consumed by beating the boys!!!)

I'm hoping that asthma is the problem because then I can start helping myself. Even though I am hurting everyday, I can tell I'm doing a whole lot better. Like with yesterday's run; walking only six steps is a lot better than last week when I felt like I needed to walk half the time. I guess I have been only drinking water. I've always been scared that food would make me vomit. But maybe me feeling sick is the LACK of food. I forget about that a lot.

Thank you so much for dropping in! The advise helped so much and the encouragement makes me want to keep going and push in front! Time for Varsity!
